Ed is the cornerstone of all of our research and data collection operations. In 2005 "Ed" was created to meet the increasing need to be able to accurately measure yields in trials done by Blair's and our Clients.  To achieve this a tender unit was purchased and mounted on a truck equiped with a legal for trade scale. 

Blair's Mega Plot 2005 

2005 was the first year for Blair's Mega Plot.  The idea behind this project was to pit 36 canola varieties against each other in field scale trials using agronomic practices similar to those of our clients.  To see the yield results please contact your nearest Blair's location.  Blair's would like to thank all of the seed companies for their participation as well Jim & Tom Alcock for allowing us to use their land.

Blair's Mega Plot 2006  

Blair's will be continuing the Mega Plot Tradition in 2006.  The plot will again be somewhere in the Watrous area. 

Blair's Mega Plot 2006 - Fertility Style

2006 will focus on stacking new innovative fertility initiatives in a real life situation. It will embrace "out of the box" thinking and challenge traditional fertility practices!
